GENERAL PARK INFO & RULES:
- West Manchester Township parks exist for the enjoyment and recreation of the community. Park users must be respectful of property and other park users. Natural resources and wildlife are to be preserved.
- PARK HOURS – Dawn to Dusk. No overnight parking.
- BEHAVIOR/ LIABILITY: Avoid offensive language or behavior. Keep music volume reasonable. Renters must provide adequate supervision and protection of minors. In granting permission to use of township parks, WMT assumes no liability for individuals attending the renter’s event. We recommend that you do not leave your belongings unattended. WMT is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- FOOD TRUCKS/ VENDORS must be approved by the Parks and Recreation Director at least two weeks in advance. A MOBILE FOOD VENDOR/NON-FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION , fee, and Dept of Ag License will be required in advance. A Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) is required for private parties who are bringing in an outside vendor.
- PUBLIC COMMUNITY EVENTS (events open to the public) must be approved by the Parks and Recreation Director at least two weeks in advance. A PARK USE PERMIT (coming soon as of 4.27.26) and Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) is required for public events at the parks.
- DOGS are permitted at the following parks: Sunset Lane Park, Dunedin Park, Westgate Park, and the Little Conewago Conservation Area. They must be kept on a leash no longer than 6′. Owners must dispose of waste appropriately. Dogs may not be left off-leash on trails or in open spaces. Violators will be fined.
- PROHIBITED: No alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or vaping, No amusement/commercial equipment (inflatables, bounce houses) for private rentals/events. No glitter, silly string, confetti, or powder balloons. All West Manchester properties are alcohol-free and tobacco-free. West Manchester is a Young Lungs at Play! Community.
